Where's super smash bros. on the list?

I've played 10 or 20 minutes of Melee. I'm not sure if that qualifies me. Soon, though, I'm hoping I'll get a chance to know the series better.

Bare in mind there are quite a few major fighting games I've never played, and some games I didn't play enough to form much of an opinion on, so those probably aren't included.

Excellent Tier

Soul Calibur 1

Very Good Tier

Soul Calibur 2
Street Fighter 2
Super Street Fighter 2

Good Tier

Mortal Combat 2
Street Fighter 4
Dead or Alive 4
Street Fighter Alpha
Soul Calibur 4

Okay Tier

Tekken 3
Virtua Fighter 2

Bad Tier

Virtua Fighter 3
Virtua Fighter 4

It's a shame fighting games aren't a more popular genre. We still get some games in it, but clearly it's not where the money in games is, not like FPSs, or sports games.

Well, those are my tiers. I'm sure people will have a lot to say (as they always do about tier lists). It's funny, about the various versions of SF2. I actually slightly preferred Street Fighter 2 to Super Street Fighter 2, despite the fact they were basically the same, except for 4 new characters. I wasn't actually that keen on the new characters, plus some of the changes (which I now largely forget) they had made to the other characters annoyed me. Chun-Lu having that funny looking fireball was badass, though. Oh, and fuck Virtua Fighter. I just had to say that.

I must admit, I'm looking forward to it, but I won't be getting it until a few weeks after release, I suspect. I'm sure there will be plenty of topics about it on CE for a few weeks, and probably a few generals as well.

It's strange. In my entire life, I've played about 20 minutes of Smash, if that. It seemed alright, nothing special, but it was one player, and I didn't play for long. Melee on a demo pod, if you must know. I remember the sheer frenzy that surrounded that, and how people talked about it regularly for years afterwards. Is that still considered the peak of the series, and if so, why? I remember people moaning a lot about Brawl, although I think it was still quite popular.

I love the Christmas season. The build-up to the big day, and then Christmas week, which is really, really nice. The air is pretty biting, but the long periods of darkness can be quite good, and the decorations around my town look nice (although they're pretty scaled back this year, probably to save money). There's also late night shopping in Britain, when the shops stay open to about 9 once a week, which has a really good atmosphere.

Sadly, a lot of people probably just see this as an average month, or, worse still, bad, because of the cold and dark. These people don't have much of a spark in them, anymore, it seems.

I suppose a girl who was pregnant by one guy, had a boyfriend who was another guy, and a third guy who I knew fucked her at least once. She was 17. She had an abortion. Apparently, this was her sixth pregnancy.

I also knew another girl who had 100 sexual partners by age 20. She must've had really bad self-esteem problems. Pretty, but also fat, and you know how some girls like that are. I remember, when she was about 22, we were at a nightclub with a mutual best friend, and she tried to take me home and fuck me. Nope. Funny, I saw her just recently in a shop (we're both in our 30s now), and she had lost SOME weight, but was still between chubby and fat. I dread to think how many dicks she's had, now.

The reason I said that Germany only existed from 1871 onwards is because...it's true. The region was originally a bunch of nation states, and further back still, an administrative district of the Holy Roman Empire. It wasn't actually a country until 1871, although I'm sure people will try and make out otherwise.

Hey luigi, remember how much fun The Orange Box was, when it came out? I remember, the first week, I put in about 40 hours, and played through all the single-player games. Best games were HL2, and HL2: Episode 2. I had only ever played some of HL2 before, so that was a really new and fresh experience for me. The Orange Box - 360 - 5 games
Sonic Jam - Saturn - 7 games
Sonic Mega Collection - Gamecube - 7 games
Sonic Gems Collection - Gamecube - 3 games (I think)
Ultimate Mega Drive Collection - 360 - 49 games

I think this is all the compilations I have. I've had a lot of fun with them. Some of these games are really old (read: they have very small file sizes), so they can put lots in a single collection. Nice and nostalgic, plenty of hours of gameplay, and sometimes there is stuff you haven't played in there as well.
